Welcome to Carousel Ranch Bed and Breakfast
"
Carousel Ranch is a home away from home"
Janet and Bill, married 35 years, are the delighted owners of 3.7 acres of paradise. Moving to Mount Forest and opening the bed and breakfast in early 2008 fits their lifestyle and personalities. Bill is a professional musician, singer and skilled renovater. Jan rides, writes fiction, paints and loves to cook. You will not go away hungry.
Their 3,200 sq. ft. home is a two-storey, split level bungalow with a total of three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Fantastic views of the grounds, fresh country air wafting through all windows and the "river sounds " lull guests to sleep. Relax on the numerous patios, sit around an evening campfire, wade the Saugeen River, stroll the flower-lined paths/trails and delight in the variety of birds and butterflies who make their home in their very secluded valley. The quaint town of Mount Forest is exactly 1 km. from the driveway entrance where you can shop, dine and take in the local hosiptality. The Carousel logo reflects the combination of music and horses that enrich their lives and owning a ranch was Jan's highschool yearbook prediction. Bill holds live concerts in the Music room once a month and weekend guests are welcome to attend free of charge.
The patios are fully furnished and afford a beautiful view of the property. The grounds are a paradise of flowers, trees, river, creek and all that Mother Nature can offer is for your enjoyment.
We offer campfires, music, stars and song to soothe your soul. On the third Sunday of each month a "live concert" takes place in the common room. Your host Bill invites his fellow Canadian artists to join him in concert and a great time is had by all. These concerts are attended by the general public and long term guests attend "free of charge". Ask about these details at time of booking
